I was so honored to be a guest last night for the I was so honored to be a guest last night for the “what is Human Trafficking Panel” I never ever thought I would share my story for fear of rejection, shame, and judgement from others. I blamed myself for years for what I went through and self medicated myself for decades BUT GOD!!! Today I am standing in my truth and advocating for those who are silenced. I never dreamed I would share my story. I honestly I never dreamed I would share my story. I honestly thought it was something I would take to my grave...BUT GOD! God showed me that my story wasn’t all about me but about the ones who needed to hear it. It was for those feeling isolated and alone. It’s amazing what happens when you stare fear in the face and give it a wink. When fear no longer controls you and you step into the woman of God and all the fierceness that comes with that! You quiet all the noise that says you can’t and you step into your God given destiny. You believe in yourself even if you are the only one.
