Let me tell you this...I was told I was nothing but a loser for years... Told I would NEVER amount to anything because I was stupid and had very little education which was my fault...I was told no one would ever listen to me and it was best if i stayed silent so I didn’t sound stupid...I sit here and smile because people don’t say who you are God does!!! Ladies let me tell you this...You are beautiful! You are important! You are made perfect in God’s eyes! Never ever let any one take that from you!!! Stand tall and proud because you can do anything you believe you can!!! Don’t settle for someone who doesn’t see your worth or value!!!! I was so honored to be a guest last night for the I was so honored to be a guest last night for the “what is Human Trafficking Panel” I never ever thought I would share my story for fear of rejection, shame, and judgement from others. I blamed myself for years for what I went through and self medicated myself for decades BUT GOD!!! Today I am standing in my truth and advocating for those who are silenced. So many of us don’t want to discuss HT but it is all around us and awareness saves lives! I never dreamed I would share my story. I honestly I never dreamed I would share my story. I honestly thought it was something I would take to my grave...BUT GOD! God showed me that my story wasn’t all about me but about the ones who needed to hear it. It was for those feeling isolated and alone. My story was for those to see that you don’t have to live in fear but can live a life of faith instead.
